Now this is a pan car!
TrackDrooler (http://laje.se/index.php?display=products)
Looks like its a mid mounted t-bar less pan car. Should be a sweet ride!
There are some more pics on the site including ones thats shows it with tires and a diff on. Looks to be a ball diff as well.
BRP has got some serious competition with this.

Any info on how we can get one of these?

Very nice, looks like a corally 1/12 in the front and a trinity 1/10 pan in the rear.
Would be nice if the regular 1/18 bodies would fit.

It looks sweet! That looks like it would dust any other micro on-road on the market today, because of its simplicity.

Well, compared to the rs4 and the m18 it has a disavantage in traction but a plus in weight and drivetrain efficiency. And a pan is always big fun to drive.

Iwas going to sat the CRC carpet knife, because they had that rear long before trinity "assimulated" it.
BTW what is that webpage in? Dutch? Babelfish is failing miserably.

Pardon? You guys race 1/12th right? I mean you do see the influence is totally 1/12th based.
I can see Buds in that maybe the designer thought to make something for the Swedish market (that used modern technology like a mid-mounted design). I can't get where you are going on about motek since the EXO was just a copy of larger 1/12th technology that had been around for year's. Even Moteks guys will tell you that.
Geez.

Yes, it's 1/12 pan style. But there is nothing similar to the BRP.
It has the U-shaped front suspension like the corally had which is different to the BRP which has springs over the knuckles.
It has a V-bar rear suspension and the motor in front of the rear axle and the BRP has T-bar and the motor behind the axle.

Geez.
easy tiger. yes i do see the 1/12th scale influence. yes i did race the brp's before and yes i do know and race with mike and orlando. now speaking 1/18th scale wise, all i am saying is that the side dampeners do look like the design from the exo and the design also resembles the v2. now, if this had come out before the exo or v2, then i would be first to say the exo & v2 resemble the team laje car (similar idea, similar concept, executed different). but who cares, sorry to get you all riled up. it's a toy.. get over it.
LATER, KARL.

I know oXYnary it really is not all that serious Geez! Yes, all of the cars mentioned bear some resemblance to one another and that is to be expected. Your last comment however was in no way necessary.

It's still misinformation. And simply stating it looks like X or Y does not contribute to a thread. If you want to be negative on it, do so. However, find something original to say.
-on a lighter tone-
You damn Surfing Layed back So-Cals! Get out of your real cars and start being serious for once.
-end tone-
Anyhow, I received a response to a inquiry I sent.
Thanks for trying to get attention to our
1/18 TrackDrooler. Right now we are busy with
getting the 1/12th scale SpeedEvil cars to
our customers. But we see a rising interest
for the TrackDrooler witch is really great.
I have started to develop some new nice
features for the TrackDrooler. I can't give
you any date for the release of the
TrackDrooler2006, maybe in January. I will
keep you updated, stay tuned!!

To whom are you referring with your "being negative" comment. The only negative comment which I have witnessed was your own!
I have nothing negative to say regarding these cars. In fact I embrace evolution in this 1/18th scale community.

Comparing it to another vehicle twice in a row without giving any more information or opinion is negative. It implies that the vehicle is a "copycat". Its inherent.
If a " :) " had been added, it would have implied a positive tone. Either way. No useful information or even a personal opinion is added.

Um,
I presented a very general comment. If you choose to embark on this childish route of arguing on the internet over a toy then you may do so alone, I have more important things to do...Enjoy!

Then don't bother in the future. I find your response unproductive to the subject at hand. Moreover, a easy way not to reach a similiar conclusion.

Something the BRP SC18 has been doing for years......

Well given, pan cars and sedan 4wd's need to be separate classes. No matter what RC Driver writes. ;) But its nice to see another entry into the pan car field. One thats more racer oriented/aware.
Im sure you wouldn't want to run a RC10TC4 versus a RC10L3/4 and expect the TC4 to win on 91% of the tracks.

I still wish I could run BRP foams on my M18 or MRS4...so much cheaper, so many more options in compounds, last so much longer, they never chunk in comarison to micro 4wd foamies...

These would go GREAT in a class with BRP's. Too bad these nor BRP's have been really popular. They are so fast. I wish I had one. It would kill my friend's stock micro, although this is going against my screenname. (but then again, who cares?) Somebody should start a 2wd pan class instead of pushing BRP owners with the other touring cars, although it is funny to see the looks on tuned M18 owners when a little pan car outcorner's it. These would be crazy with a Mamba.

they're borderline uncontrollably fast with a speed 300, a mamba would just be pointless IMO.
there's no reason to not have a class of them, most tracks only require 3 drivers of the same spec car to form a class, that is the only thing holding you back from seeing a BRP class at your track.
