KTS what kind of motor do you run with 12 cells and do you ever have to replace it? I think i want to do the same thing exept with 3 or 4 lithiums in a pan chassis. I would also probably need a new ESC, buit would I need a special servo and reciever?

i found one esc that takes 12 cells... 1412 SPEEDSTAR MEGAFET SPD CTL (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXHD99&P=0)
Also the Traxxas EVX Speed Control E-Maxx (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXAJD6&P=0) will take 12
this will take 36 cells (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXTF93&P=0) but it has no brakes and you need a reciever battery pack. you could hook it up to 12 lithium cells! then hook it up to some crazy ass motor. this is for one EXTREME MICRO!

do you use a heat sink? how did you mod it? does anyone think a big block will work at 14.4V?
While I was at school I thought about using that ill ESC and I thought of the emaxx motors they say they can take 14V iu bet they could probably take at least 20. I just don't know how it would fit.
"May" be able to find info here but anyway it is a good article for you ultimate speed freaks.:)

I went toAveox's web site. they have a 40 dollars with brake and bec that takes 16 cells (5 litiums i guess) and it only wieghs .2 ounces with no wires. It also comes with a free speed 400 motor. they also have 30 cell brushless controllers. anyone know how many volts one of those micro brushless motors can take?
