im diggin this truck! innovative suspension and 540 stock! it also looks like a competent handler. the music in the video gets annoying quick tho haha

Yeah the music does somewhat get annoying doesnt it.....but it does seem to handle the bumps and small jumps with no mishaps though....and another thing it does seem to lack in speed also....

The rear end needs more dampening. See how it bounces off the larger jumps?
Checking its dimensions against the Goliath, it does seem to be 1/18th. Unless the 11.5" was the wheelbase versus the length. Then it would have been a 1/16th.
(per Music)
Its Blur, they just looped a section of that song and added some nascar sounds so they wouldn't get in trouble.

youll be alot more dissappointed when you get one.
[bad]
servo sucks butt..took all of 1.5mins to kill it from nothing more than driving round a track.
servo saver is terrible..
motor is SLOOOOOOWWWWWWW
battery pack takes about 5 mins to run down...
rear difs out toooooo easily.
plastics break easily
hard to drive round a small track. might be ok if i worked on the gearing a little..maybe..but...i cant be bothered tbh.
[good]
however, access to the servo is by way of a sliding plate..i like that.
CEN lista 16x2 (iirc) as an optional motor.
it has a slipper (not fully sealed)

c0sie,
Got any photos of the beast?
It's a pity as it looked like an excellent truck in the pre-release photos and I thought it would haul serious a$$ with a 540 motor in it

Sorry to hear man......If you were able to see the vids on the Cen Mondo you would also be dissappointed.....the truck in the vid looked slow, i also would think that since it uses a 540motor and a full size stick pack that it would also haul Major A$$........
Cosie let us know how everything goes man.....

RCCA just tested it and it said its the fastest out of the box for RTRs though at 20 plus mph so something must be wrong. :( I planned on getting one myself.

Dang, thats a good deal....tell us how it goes with the bl in there man.....:D
I must have done well since I purchased the MM for $100 in California (eHobbies). However, I did go to another hobby store that had it for $99 (Ultimate Hobbies) and yet another that had it for $179 (LHS). Same truck, different store. They've probably all raised their prices by now if they even still have them in stock.
One of the CEN factory drivers installed a brushless in it last year. I've thought about it since I have several extra brushless motors lying around, but I want to wait and see what kind of classes are going to be run at the new indoor track which should be opening soon.

one thing i hate about this car is the turning radius or the turning itself in general I swear it turns horrible and another negative is that its not 4 wheel drive :( overall the truck is wroth getting as long as you dont spend over 150 bucks for it the electronics are crappy overall recieves a lot of interference put in a traxxas reciever transmitter setup works fine now. If you can get the truck for like 99 bucks then I say go for it its worth getting, but not for 150 bucks luckly I got mine for 122 shipped not to shabby. I did put in the novak GTB5.5 and YES its insane madness alright kinda funny watching this thing haul booty.
