Need help with electronics install

heres my electronic setup on my micro...Futaba 3PDF radio, Airtronics 94145 servo, LRP Quantrum Super Reverse ESC, and Novak XXL Receiver for Futaba. Im also running the hpi mod motor. I got two servos with my radio but i opted for the airtronics and when i plug the airtronics servo in nothing happens, but when i use the futaba servo it works. It does get warm so i know its getting power but thats all. Do i need to get a part that will make these two work together. I just reveived all this stuff a couple days ago and did all the install today but i cant get the steering to work. Also will i need to solder anything, the ESC instructions say something about soldering but i had no idea what it was talking about. Please help

well airtronic connectors are Z type and futaba are J type, i have a Z to J converter if you want it

Make sure that Airtronics servo realy is a "Z" connector. If it is, it will be blue. If it is black, that is the old style and they are wired differently (Positive and negative are reversed). If it is a "Z" it will plug right in to the reciever, just align the colors with the speed controls wires (black towards the edge of the case). If it is a "Z" connector and it is plugged in backwards, no harm is done. If it is the old black connector and you plug it in without switching the wires around, you can let smoke out of one the boxes.
