would this truck be able to take a 900mah 6cell pack if i built one in block form ?

this little thing runs of six AA size cells pushing 1.2v each, now this got me thinking that 7.2 v so thus could be possible to modify a sub c cell pack to fit thing is cant read very well so not know if esc can take my mod.

this is not my truck i brought it for my niece but would like her to have a real rc with a real cell pack not a rubbish duracel drinking guzler

thanks for the imput guys

I would consider a 2 cel lipo, or 4 cels with 2 series and 2 parallel. they are 3.7 volts each. I don't use anything but now for electrics, even in my radios. The weight savings verses power and runtimes are well worth it.

going to a larger amperage won't hurt things as the motor can only draw so much juice, it will just increase runtime though there can be a performance boost with increased amperage (which will decrease with the added weight of the bigger cels and the shocks may not be able to handle the extra) . to get more poop you would have to increase the motor turns (which draws more amperage) or increase the voltage.

I don't know the esc but the slight difference in voltage shouldn't be too big of a problem. I would get out the magnifying glass or search the companies site for tech info, check the manual close or write somebody from the support staff at the site what voltage limits are.
cheers

The Atech LEO is the exact same thing as the Venom Mini-Giant :)
So, I took the onus of moving the Thread
