Do any of you race them? I find them to be way more fun than anything i've ever driven, and cheap to take care of. A $15 battery pack, a $12 motor, and you're pretty much set. This tuesday was my first night racing one, and i finished 5th out of 10, even with a dynamite 1500 mAH Ni-Cad pack, a mabuchi motor, and the stock Rubber-friction shocks. I already bent a front lower A-Arm, and that happens to be all that anyone ever breaks :D Unfortunately, when you wanna buy a replacement A-Arm you have to buy the whole parts tree for $7.50 a pop... i wish they came in aluminum or steel... :( Anyways minis are cool, do any of you have/run them?

my rc club has a spec class for the M03 chassis car... we run the stock car with bearings, silver can motor, mechanical speed controls and hpi xpattern mini tires

it's the most fun you'll have racing... the cars race door to door and there's lots of hacking and bumping. so far i haven't broken any parts, these cars are durable! we even added a jump last week to make it more exciting, no damage at all except for some scratches

Nothing, It's just hard for me to drive now, even after just 1 week of pan... everythings loose and unstable in the mini, and everything's fine tuned to the thousandth of an inch on pan...
First off i gotta shorten my shocks and lower the ride height if I ever plan on running minis again, then remember to bring traction compound :o

What scale is it?

A little less than 1/10th I think. The Mini Cooper body is actually 1/8th scale, since the real car is so little!

no surprise that cheap tough cars, and lots of contact is the best fun you'll have with an RC car.
We run super cheap Mardave V12 cars full contact racing and spend half the heats laughing at all the pile ups !
