TC :)

- Firstly you need a venue/track.
- Get some voulenteers to help you arrange events
- Set up a timetable
- Draw up club/class rules
- Find a lap timing system - probably a PC based one where someone calls the car numbers and you hit the corresponding Numerical key - cheaper than any Transponder based system
- Advertise to get members to come race

That's how I've seen it done in the past...

thanks mondo

my lhs has the track up and running it has about 5 people use it the size is perfect for 1/18th an 1/10th ep, nitros it aslo a offroad track

marshals = no one to help am on my own at moment not many folks my way drive rc :( and want that responsability
that come with it too (eg rc clubs)

the track is owned by the hobby store and is situated behind the store also has very large car park too. the store has a good selectionm of parts an full rtr trucks cars, this is also open on weekends for when racing

transponder = i was thinking as the hobby store owns the track they would do this.

it sounds alot bigger than what i been thinking maybe ill have to pass it up will ring the guy and see what he want exactly

thanks for help will keep you all posted on the outcome if i do or dont

maybe ask the store if you can borrow some rc trucks to put up for rental
example=£5 this will get money in plus with an entry fee would boost some fees
and maybe give the store 2 quid out of the 5 quid for every truck that gets hired
ps this would be an exelent way to get some new faces into rc:D

heres the race track for micros at my lhs
