I've read that the M18 ball-diffs may just be compatible with the RC18T
I am still to see anything to confirm this

If this indeed the case, I am going to upgrade pronto, the RC18T's diffs are becoming a little tired due to the brushless..

So, can anyone confirm that the M18 ball diffs work on the RC18T with little or no modification?

Xtant has them going from RC18, into the M18 and that worked. No one has gone the other route, M18 diff's into the RC18. That will be intresting to see. I hear the M18 diff's are about $30 a piece though, compared to AE's standerd $9 kit's.

This is the thread on the other side about it http://www.one18th.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17150
It's getting a little long, but most seem to enjoy Xtant's find:D

If the AE diff kit work's in the M18, so it would seem like the M18 ball diff would work in the RC18. You may need to check the clearence of the outdrives and bearings. If I remember correctly, the M18 utilize's an extra bearing. Good luck:cool:

That would be interesting to know and see if it would actually work. The Xray Balldiffs utilize two inner bearings for smoothness and functionality. But since my truck is just a basher im not willing to spend 30.00 bucks for the 18t yet. As for the M18 thats a different story.
