Pfft, same thing, heavier, longer, wider with a beefier motor

#21065 18MT Wheel/Tire/Insert, mounted $17.99
#21063 18MT Chrome Wheels $ 7.99
#21064 18MT Tires and Inserts $10.99
#21072 18MT Body, flag design $17.99
#21075 18MT Body, clear, with masks and decals $11.99

(must use #21129 screws to mount)

Easier and cheaper.....
Unlike Team XRay who's M18T is still unreleased

Whats the difference between the 18t and the 18MT, the same platform except the MT comes with bigger tires and the same electronics is used. And another difference is the motor size. Alot of us already have converted our 18t into a MT.

The 370 motor is similar to the 300, it's AKA the "Wattage 370" just a beefier version of the 300 motor, that's all
The ESC looks the same, in fact the base of this truck is the almost identical to the RC18T except for a few changes including the bdoyshell.
Nothing new, nothing refreshing, just the same thing as the RC18T with a few new parts bolted on to it :)

This is the era of RTR, some people want Monster Trucks (MT's) so they will buy an MT opposed to buying the stadium truck version and doing the conversion to MT themselves.
XRay are doing this with the M18T (A reworked M18) and Thunder Tiger do the same with the ZT-2 (Stadium) and ZK-2 (MT)

Getting the Mt yes i can see that, but hey at least you saved some money on getting bigger tires lol. Thats something the MT has already and a 370 motor.

This I dont get, you pay MORE money to get a RC18"M"T when you can save alot by doing it yourself. And half of the stuff Mondo posted you dont really need. Are they competing with the Xray Monster Truck?
Me ----> :confused:

The 18T and 18MT are the same price. The $279.99 is the retail price for both trucks.
So I guess if you have'nt bought a 18T yet the 18MT is a good choice if you want a more monster looking truck!
The tires are kinda kewl.
I wish they would have at least put Rear shock tower and shocks upfront.
And also the gear cover of course.

I dream of the day when there is a gearcover. But I've already posted my opinion on that so I won't say more. lol
It's cool that there is an option if you want a mini-monster as some may want this as more of a basher. Myself I wanted a stadium truck so it doesn't bother me that this was released. But those tires look silly to me, using the AE logo as tread. I wonder how it grips?

Will at least both are RTR's and it will give the person 2 choices.

The 18mt uses the same platform as the 18t. The bigger wheels make the 18mt wider.
