Sharky here... hello everyone.

I just picked up an RS4 (Skyline body) and was lookking to get more information on the cars, there abilities and fun factors. I always liked RC cars, and woould pick up the RTR from like Radio Shack and Toyrus. But to actually build it was cool. I'm waiting on an ESC for it. Any thoughts on which I should get without going overboard? yet?

Hi, welcome. I am new here too but I have used a lot of escs, even a few in the rs4 like the GM v3r and futaba mc230r....my budget favorite for general bashing is the futaba mc230r http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUY13&P=ML, it lets your run 7cells and a 300 motor no problem.

It really depends on what you want it for....the two above are good for bashing as they have reverse, can handle a bigger motor and are a decent size.

There are many others that people use but of the ones I have used I definitely recommend these.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I just scored an Associated one attached to a beefed up motor. I worked when I insalled it and tuned in my controller, then it wouldn't run the following day whe I tried to show my wife. (damn) So I called team Associated and he told me to send it to him. He said that if he couldn't figure out what was wrong, that he would send me another!

Their customer service is excellent!!!
