hey,
i got a hb minizilla at my lhs for $213.99

this car is totally worth evry single penny. the suspension is good and it has great climbing ability, goes very fast on grass with the includd 370 size motor. the only bad thing about the MINIZILLA is that the charger charges the battery pack in 4-5 hours and only lasts like 5-10 minutes. the hardest thing to do about the rtr version is getting the anttenea inside the little black straw ( i took 10 minutes to get it in.)

i charged this little truck for 10 minutes, and it was popping wheelies like crazy on my tile kitchen floor.
you can spit dirt, and make 8 figures in the dirt look cool due to the all-wheel drive feature. ebay is selling alluminum side plates like the savage for $20.00. and if you want to put the mamba-25 system in it is as simple as open, drop, tune, own everybody else.)

i really recommend this little truck.

Welcome to YourMicro.com :)

Well done on the new truck and a great choice too!
I've had a good look at one and it's not bad at all, just a little overpriced in the UK for what it is.
I am not knocking it, as I said it's a great truck, but RTR's are a waste of time in my hands due to the fact that I always junk the stock electronics and add my own :)
See my gallery (http://www.yourmicro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15808) Thread to get an idea at what I mean :)

Enjoy it, modify it and fly it high. Keep us informed on the MiniZilla regarding its performance, handling and modifications :)

Hi modfather, welcome to zilla community, and congratulation to new great car owner. Running a stock zilla is kind of fun, modify it even have more fun. I also love modify all mr RC. With new minizilla, I have made it to 4 wheel steering, put the wheelie roller bar at rear end. And with last modification, made wheel adapter and put Tamiya TLT-1 bigger wheels. It looked great and ran great too. It becomes a little rock crawler like TLT-1 but have better balance and lighter weight.

I had thought about getting it, but it was too slow for me. It was reviews by RC driver and it maxed out at only 8mph. That's slower then the Mini-z Monster.

That's what RC Driver said. 8mph!
I know that the mini quake was tested around 19mph. Has anyone driven both? How do they compare in speed?

A radioshack car could probably go more than 8mph
