I'd just like to take the opportunity to introduce myself here, I found it interesting this board has its own intro forum, lol.
I'm Brandon and I'm from Kentucky. I'm mainly here because I am going to break over and buy a TLT-1 soon. I have 2 Overlands and 1 xmod, and they both are not what I am looking for, and I wish I would have never bought the OL's. One of my OL's fried for no reason whatsoever, and the other one that runs always has a problem with either the steering or transmission (but an absolute blast when its not messed up).
My X-Mod is pretty fun, but horrible horrible slop in all the parts and absolutely terrible range take every bit of fun out of the little thing.
I had a Stampede that I had nearly 800 dollars in and was insanely overpowered (P-94 15x2 hooked to 12 cells, even 14 on one occassion). But I blew my ESC with 14 cells because i tried backing up in grass with the timing advanced 20 degrees, didnt surprise me. So, after that incident, I decided it was time to move on, so I sold the thing with no electronics.
I'd just like to say this appears to be a good, informational forum and I am quite certain I will enjoy my stay here.
