6 Cell AA Packs Charging & Cycling

Was just wondering what kind of charging amps people are using to charge 6 cell packs of AA's and also what amps you are using to cycle packs? I have been charging at 1 amp an am trying cycling them at 5 amps but was wondering about other views on the subject.

it depends if im in a rush or not but usually i charge mine at around 1 or 1.5 amps and when im in a hurry i go for 4.5 and they dont even get hot

i hold the record i charged a pack of 4aa battaries at 10 amps
