its coming as a kit right?? but comes with the motor? the only thing i would need to buy would be the electronics (radio/servos)?

Yes! Finally a release date! Its comin in kit form with just the motor from what it seems.

Yup it's a kit with the 550 motor. So you will need radio gear, esc, and battery.

The truck has shipped. Great Planes and HRP carry the truck. So ask your local hobby shop to order yours.
