The first ABC Hobby (http://www.abcrchobby.com) Micro race will be held on 11/13/04 at 11:00am, practice starts at 10:00am. It is open to all experienced and new micro racers.

For micro sedan (M18, MRS4), we run a stock class. Basically stock motor, 11T pinion and 5 cell battery pack. See IMCRA (http://www.imcra.org/sites/imcra/default.asp) for details.

For off-road (Mini-T), we run stock motor with 5 cell battery pack.

If you've been there before, see you there! If you've never been there before... STOP ON OUT!

The turnout wasn't too bad. We had 5 micro sedans. The next race is next Saturday 11/20/04. I won't be able to make it, but it will run every other Saturday after that.

I read the IMCRA Approved Equipment but is there anything else you can run? Possibly a modified class?

As of yet, there is no modified class. At ABC, we basically run stock (IMCRA approved) motors and 5 cells. That is all that needs to be "stock". You can have whatever chassis, etc you want. You can run either foams or rubber, but most guys run rubber. We also run 11T pinions in the micro, and 17T in the M18 (stock spur).
