I know it's not (Northern) Virginia, but Hobbytown USA in Virginia Beach races Micros. I go there once or twice a month to race my Micro and XXX-S. I have a blast there. Infact, I'll be there this Saturday to try out some setups for my XXX-S. I'll also have my Big Block micro as well to reclaim my A-main after a poor performance my last visit there (don't buy HPI oneway). Anyways, come on down! They race every Saturday. Track opens at 10am, races start around noon. Indoor Carpet!

Do you have something against me? :p Well I had bad qualifying with broken parts. Didn't get if fixed til B-main when I won that with 16 laps. A-main winner also had 16 laps with 2nd at 14. I don't think my driving was to blame for broken parts. Just the weak plastic nubs (the stock front diff housing) that the HPI oneway uses. I switched to GPM Pro oneway just before my Main came up. You see, the plastic nubs can't take much power from the 6cell BigBlock motor that I use. GPM Pro can. Anyways... come on down and let's race!! :D It would be a blast!

Here is my micro if you havent seen it yet.
Hey Cosmo, did Edel have that prototype chassis when he came down to Race City? I saw that he had a pan chassis. But didn't know if that was the one you made. Ever think of making a floating rear pod or something similar to a rear pan car? Anyways, hope to see you sometime down in Race City. They told me that if I knew some people who wanted to, we can race there. They only need like 3-4 to make a class. I've seen more than that there! We'll race them next time you come down. Just bring a mod! Take it easy man......

Cosmo - There is a place about 15 min South of where I live called Brown Brothers Hobbies. It's in Dumfries, VA. They have an indoor carpet track, outside off-road track and outside on-road track.

jimmy- he has one now. He was using the ARM chassis. We are working on a carbon chassis with a fiberglass t-bar. Actually, it will probably have 3 different t-bars to change flex. Also, we are working on a damping system like regular pan cars, and possibly a 3 shock rear end setup. We probably won't be mass-producing these because it would be way too expensive, but we may have some available for... uh... "preferred customers".
I'm working on a front end conversion now that will allow you to change toe-in and ackerman. But that is still a few months away from being ready.

That's the weird thing. It seems like there is a lot of interest in the Micro, but none of the LHS seem to really support it (not carrying parts, hop-ups, etc). The LHS manager told me that at first they used to race them, but then everyone just fell off and no more races.
