Once i got the chance i swapped out my electronics in my T. I switched for a novak xxl and novak reactor esc. I was going to put the quantum in because of all the good features like braking then to reverse, reverse dial out, recharges the battery a little when breaking, small compact size and what not but I cant spend the extra money so i ordered a futaba mc230cr. Anyway, I would get the quantum reverse, the stock components, while small and sleek, arent the best in the world.

for the radio I use an hitec procar with lrp phazer rx and the servo is one normal hs55. on my runner i don't like lights  and for the italian race i need 10 minute + 2 turn of autonomy...
for the esc I have a quantum rev and a quantum comp that not use but the second does not have the reverse and don't want buy an other esc only for this little losi, so if the quantum rev can give more performance then the stock esc I change it, contrary I leave the stock...
the futaba 230 is very popular in italy for his price and performance ;)

ah! sorry for my bad language hehehe:(
