View Full Version : ABC Hobbies Winter Season

The winter micro season starts this sunday nov 2. Races will be held every other sunday.The track opens at 10:00 am. See abc's website http://www.abcrchobby.com for address information.


Rules are:
5 cells
stock motor (hpi or team orion)
11t pinion
rubber tires

we will run 2, possibly 3 qualifying heats of 8 minutes. the A main is 15 minutes, all other mains are 10 minutes.

At this moment, all chassis mods are allowed. There is one guy i know for sure who will be running an Exo2. If at some point it becomes evident that this car is invincible, the rules may change to omit it.

mini z's will also be run if enough show up. I'm not sure on their rules though.

How was it? Sorry I couldn't make it last Sunday, something came up. Is it every Sunday at the same time?

It was awesome! i got 4th out of 7. It was a pretty good finish considering that all 3 of us were on the same lap, and only one lap behind the leader.

It's every other sunday, so the next race is on the 16th

Yes. the doors open at 11 for warm up then racing starts around noon. Track is down the stairs to the right of the door when you come in. You pay the $8 and sign up just before the races start.

Shadowrat will be showing off his new Mini-T Truck too.

the mini-t ROCKS!

so far no issues with the steering servo, though a full electronics replacement is definately on my list of upgrades.
